Chaturbate Billing Help: Declined Cards, Refunds, Cancelling and Deleting Your Account

This page answers the billing and account questions Chaturbate users ask most: why a card is declined, how to pay without one, how refunds work, and how to cancel a membership or close an account. Each answer is taken from Chaturbate's own help centre, checked on 12 October 2026, with a link to the source so you can confirm it.

Chaturbate's help centre lists four usual causes: a wrong card number, expiry date, CVV or billing address; not enough funds or a reached credit limit; a fraud alert at your bank; and buying through a proxy or VPN, or with an IP address that does not match your ZIP code.

So the order to try things in is: re-enter the card details exactly as the bank has them, turn off any VPN, and then call the bank and ask whether it blocked the charge. If the card still fails, use one of the other payment methods below. Chaturbate accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Source: Why is my credit card declined?

Chaturbate's purchase guide describes these options besides cards:

• Cryptocurrency. Chaturbate says crypto gives the best rate. The minimum is 250 tokens, and it lists BTC, LTC, DOGE, ETH, BCH, AVAX and DOT. Tokens arrive shortly after the payment confirms, and you can follow each invoice on the crypto invoices page of your account.
• Wire transfer. Minimum $250, credited at $0.08 per token, so $1,000 buys 12,500 tokens. That is about the same rate as the largest card pack, which is why it only makes sense for big purchases.
• Money order or certified check. In US dollars only, minimum $160, payable to Multi Media LLC. Personal checks are not accepted.
• Gift cards through PayGarden. The rate depends on the gift card you use and is shown when you enter it.
• Local payment methods. Chaturbate says it offers more than 37 others, and that the list on the purchase page depends on your region.

Tax. Chaturbate states that VAT may be included in the price depending on your region, and that the price can change after you enter your billing details. The updated price is shown before you confirm the purchase. If you think VAT was applied wrongly, Chaturbate asks you to contact support. Source: Do token prices include VAT?

There are two routes, depending on what went wrong.

For a billing problem, such as a charge you do not recognise or a payment taken twice, Chaturbate directs users to its Billing Support phone line, 1-877-338-7068.

For a dispute with a broadcaster, you file a support ticket with your username, the broadcaster's username, the date and time, and a short description of what happened.

Chaturbate's help centre does not publish a refund window or promise that a refund will be given. It does state that tips are voluntary and sent at your own risk, so do not expect a tip to be returned because a show disappointed you. Source: How do I get a refund?

Both are cancelled in the same place: open My Profile at the top right of the site and go to the Memberships tab. After you cancel, Chaturbate emails you the date your access ends. The Memberships tab is on the desktop version of the site; if you cannot reach it, Chaturbate asks you to contact support.

For reference, the Supporter membership costs $19.95 a month. It removes ads, lets you start private messages and tip anonymously, and includes a one-time bonus of 200 tokens. Chaturbate calls it deactivating. Log in, scroll to the bottom of the home page and select Disable Account. The link only appears when you are logged in.

If you change your mind, support can reactivate the account, but only within 120 days. After that Chaturbate says the account cannot be brought back. Cancel any Supporter or fan club membership before you deactivate, so that nothing keeps renewing. Source: How do I deactivate my account?

Two things people often ask are not answered in the help centre, so we do not state them as fact: the exact name that appears on a bank statement, and what happens to unused tokens when an account is deactivated. If either matters to you, ask Chaturbate support before you buy or before you close the account.
