Can People in My Country See Me on Chaturbate or Stripchat?

Yes, unless you block that country. Both sites give models a geo-blocking setting that hides the room from viewers in the countries you choose, and both let you narrow it down to states or regions.

Go to My Profile, open Settings and Privacy and find Broadcaster Settings. Click a country in the list to move it into the Blocked countries box.

For some countries you can go further. Chaturbate lets you block individual states in the United States, provinces in Canada and regions in the United Kingdom. It works the same way: click the state or region to move it into the Blocked states/regions box.

Chaturbate adds one note: geo-blocking may not always give full coverage, because there can be IP addresses the tool does not register. So keep your other privacy habits alongside it. Source: How do I block a country, region and/or state from viewing my cam?

Open Settings and Privacy, choose the countries where your account should not be visible and press Save. For most countries you can also block specific regions: select the country and an option to pick regions appears.

Stripchat points out the trade-off. Every country you block is an audience you no longer reach, so heavy blocking may reduce traffic in your room. Block the places you need to and leave the rest open. Source: GEO blocking: blocking your account from being seen in specific countries

Yes. Stripchat shows a flag on your profile and lists you in search results when viewers filter models by country. The country is assigned automatically from the country that issued your identity documents and cannot be changed by hand, but it can be hidden. Go to Settings & Privacy, open Country Appearance and turn off showing your country and appearing under the Country Tag. Source: Country display

Only if you have opted in. Chaturbate's country filters let viewers find creators from a given country on the homepage, and Chaturbate says creators stay in full control: you appear in those results only if you have chosen to share your country visibility. The filter for a country is shown only while creators from that country are live, and the feature is being rolled out to viewers in phases. Source: What are Country Filters?

Yes. Stripchat runs an alternative site for models, mywebcamroom.com. Log in there with the same model account details. That site is for broadcasting only, so you will not see other models on it, but you are visible to users. Source: Broadcast from blocked countries
