How Do Ticket Shows Work on Chaturbate? Password Shows Too

Some Chaturbate apps let a broadcaster sell tickets to a show. You buy a ticket by tipping the number of tokens the broadcaster asks for. Once the show starts it is hidden from the public, and only viewers with a ticket can see it. Source: How do I buy tickets to a show?

Tip the requested number of tokens in the broadcaster's room. If the show is password protected, the password is sent to you after you tip that amount, and the option to enter it appears once the show has started. Source: How do I buy tickets to a show?

Tipping itself is explained in how to tip on Chaturbate and Stripchat, and token packs are listed in our token price comparison.

A password show is a room that the broadcaster has locked with a password in the Settings & Privacy tab. Only viewers who have the password can enter and see the show, and the room is not visible on the site until the password is removed.

Tokens are not deducted automatically in a password show the way they are in a private show. If you and the broadcaster agree on a token amount, it is tipped before the show. Chaturbate tells broadcasters to make the agreement clear first: how long the show will be and what will or will not happen. Source: Show Types

A premium private show is a private show that other users cannot spy on. It has its own price per minute and its own minimum number of minutes, which the broadcaster sets in the Settings & Privacy tab. Otherwise it has the same options and settings as a regular private show. Source: Show Types

In a regular private show the broadcaster may allow Spy Shows. A spying viewer pays to see the private show stream but cannot see the private chat. Broadcasters can disable spying or set the spy rate per minute. Source: Show Types

How to start a private show or spy on one is covered in how private shows work.

Ticket shows run through hidden cam and ticket show apps, which you find in the App Directory. With these apps you set the ticket price in tokens, and you can give free tickets to your fan club members or moderators. Viewers who have bought a ticket see the stream. Source: Show Types

For where the App Directory is and how many apps can run at once, see Chaturbate apps and bots.

• The tokens-per-minute rate and the minimum length of a private show.
• Whether spy shows are allowed, and the spy rate per minute.
• Whether the viewer who buys the show keeps a recording in their collection.

All of these are in the Settings & Privacy tab and can be changed as often as you like. A recording cannot be provided afterwards if the option was off when the viewer requested the show.

Private shows are requested by viewers and cannot be started by the broadcaster. A notification appears under your cam, and you click "Start Private" to accept. The show ends when either of you clicks "End Private Show", after which you go into Away mode automatically. Source: Show Types
