Chaturbate vs Stripchat Payouts for Models: Token Value, Pay Schedule and Minimums

Both sites pay a model the same amount for a token: $0.05. What differs is how often the money is sent, the minimum you need before it is sent, and the ways you can receive it. Everything below comes from the two sites' own help centres, checked on 12 October 2026, with links to the source pages.

On Chaturbate and on Stripchat one token earns the model $0.05, whatever the viewer paid for it. A 1,000-token night is $50 on either site.

What the viewer paid does change how big your share looks. Viewers pay less per token when they buy bigger packs, so the same $0.05 is a larger slice of a cheap token than of an expensive one:

• Chaturbate: viewers pay from about $0.079 per token (2,025 tokens for $159.99) to about $0.14 (50 tokens for $6.99). Your $0.05 is therefore between roughly 36% and 63% of what was paid.
• Stripchat: the packs we could confirm run from about $0.085 per token (2,350 for $199.99) to about $0.111 (90 for $9.99), which puts your $0.05 at roughly 45% to 59%. Stripchat itself says that on average more than 55% of user spending is paid out to models.

These percentages are our arithmetic from the list prices in our token price comparison, not figures the sites publish for each pack. Sources: Stripchat token value for models and How much does Stripchat pay

Stripchat pays weekly. Payouts go out every Tuesday for most methods and every other Tuesday for international wire transfers. If you change your payment settings on a Monday or Tuesday, that week's payout is cancelled and paid the following week.

Chaturbate pays twice a month. The pay periods are the 1st to the 15th and the 16th to the end of the month, and payments are sent within 7 business days after a period ends. You have to convert your tokens to cash yourself in the Token Stats tab; tokens you have not converted are not paid out. Converted tokens do not expire, so anything that misses one period is paid in the next.

Chaturbate also has daily payouts, but not from day one. US-based broadcasters qualify after receiving two payouts and international broadcasters after four. Daily payouts are processed Monday to Friday, and Chaturbate asks you to allow one to three business days.

Chaturbate: $50 is the minimum you must earn to be paid.

Stripchat: the minimum depends on the method.

• $50: Paxum, Yoursafe, Cosmo Payment, Bitcoin, Tether (USDT), local wires
• $100: Ethereum, USD Coin, ACH or direct payment, SEPA wire in euros, Visa
• $500: international wire transfer

If you are below the minimum, the balance carries over to the next payout on both sites.

Chaturbate lists check by mail, wire transfer, direct deposit (USA only), Paxum, CosmoPayment and Bitcoin. Paxum, CosmoPayment and Bitcoin arrive the same business day they are sent. Direct deposit takes 2 to 7 business days at the bank. Checks take 2 to 7 business days inside the USA, 7 to 10 to Canada and 2 to 6 weeks elsewhere, which makes a check a poor choice outside North America.

Stripchat lists Paxum, Cosmo Payment and Yoursafe (delivered instantly), crypto in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USD Coin or Tether (within a few hours), Visa (1 to 5 business days), and SEPA, ACH, local wires and international wire (2 to 10 business days).

One warning from Stripchat about crypto: payouts in ETH, USDC and USDT may be sent through smart contracts. Check that your wallet accepts transfers from smart contracts before choosing them, because Stripchat says a payout sent to a wallet that does not can be lost.

Chaturbate's help centre gives the usual reasons: the minimum was not reached, the tokens were never converted to cash, or they were converted after the period closed and will be paid in the next one. For checks, a wrong or undeliverable address sends the check back.

On Stripchat the commonest self-inflicted cause is editing payment settings on a Monday or Tuesday, which pushes the payout to the following week.

Per token, neither: it is $0.05 on both. Stripchat gets money to you faster in the first weeks, because it pays every Tuesday from the start, while Chaturbate pays twice a month until you qualify for daily payouts. Once you do qualify, Chaturbate is the faster of the two.

What decides your income is how many tokens you earn, and that depends on the audience more than on the payout terms. When we counted in October 2026, Chaturbate had about 7,000 rooms live at once; Stripchat's feed does not publish a total, so we cannot compare the two by size. Many models run both on different hours for a few weeks and keep the one that earns more. For a wider view, see our guide to cam model payouts.
